THE wedding and more

We  started our day with a “personal invitation” to the Cuckoo’s Bakery for wedding cake and party poppers.

Along with everyone else we met Harry and Meghan up close and not too personal.

Cake for all even Yellow Bunny.

What fun! Next we just happen to find a book sale at Churches Corner, very organized

And lunch at one of the top 5 vegan cafes in Edinburgh according to the Scotsman newspaper. And it was delicious

Next we met Yvonne, 2nd cousin of Dave, Holland’s husband and who lives in Edinburgh! She gave us a lovely tour of the countryside. Here we are in North Berwick. Walking along the beach on a sunny afternoon. So warm!

Bass Rock sits not far from shore and is white because of all the birds that are there. I think a lighthouse too

People were in the water at the pool on the beach!

Back to Yvonne and husband Willie’s place for probably one of the best meals yet. I thought it would be too much but we all managed very well.

Just look at that.

And ice cream with sweet ginger rhubarb for dessert.
Thank you Yvonne and Willie.

Tomorrow train to London.
A quick note about Arthur’s Seat. As we drove out of town today it was possible to see the first hill Norm and I climbed 10 years ago and then the second peak this time. That little bump is the 250 m we climbed!
