Nine hour bus ride Prague to Ljubljana

Up early to have the free breakfast and then find the Flixbus stop. Fortunately we gave ourselves lots of time and only got slightly lost but made it in time.

We were the oldest on the bus (by far) and only ones wearing a mask.

The ride was ok. The bus driver needed to have a few smoke breaks so we stopped every couple of hours to stretch and in some cases buy food or use the WC.

The WC is behind me to the right, so small and so bad. 

The WC was absolutely disgusting! Will send negative report to Flixbus. But hey we stopped in Vienna! Don’t let the pictures fool you. The poster is at the city’s bus terminal, beneath a noisy highway overpass on the outskirts of one of the world’s beautiful cities.

The bus stop was a far as we got. 
And lunch, bus style….

I did “borrow” ham and salami from breakfast for the bagel chips with some cheese so it wasn’t all junk food.

Now we are in Ljubljana Slovenia…can you tell?

Just another smoke break bus stop. 

Once off the bus and to our BnB, we headed out to find food.

It is 23’!! Sandals and t-shirt weather. We stopped at the first restaurant we found, Šestica, founded in 1776! 

Maybe a bit old world but the food was very good and for a few minutes an Oom,PaPa band appeared for a song, someone’s birthday. 

Check the mushroom soup in a bread bowl…

Tomorrow we get to explore Ljubljana before we start waking on Tuesday.
