Day Four Hike - Ardgroom to Lauragh

Not a really long hike today so leaving by 11:30 was ok. Breakfast was good, I finally had some Irish oatmeal! Norm French Toast and Brad tried kippers!

Today's hike promised some stone circles and we weren't disappointed. First our host John gave us ride into town of Ardgroom since the bnb was quite aways out.
We look pretty serious but ready.

The first stone circle we came to was not quite a full circle but close. The hills behind showed the beautiful greens of Ireland.

When you walk you get to see such views looking down.

Heather and Brad coming up the hillside.
Some stone formations are wild.

Always follow the yellow man.

Norm's finger is stuck in this stone circle??
I am just enjoying the space.
We left the rocky hills and into a wooded area. Rhododendrons everywhere!

And more on the road, in fields, in the trees...

We arrived in Lauragh about 4, time for a drink before heading up the road to the Mountain View bnb.
This was a super nice place to stay. We were greeted with tea and cookies, hot showers, really friendly hosts and a grand dinner. Roast lamb or seafood (hake and salmon) dinner, excellent.
