On the road again

It has been a year since we did a road trip. The last one was summer of 2020 with a drive through BC when we managed to see 16 Gidneys! Today it is more of my side of the family trip. 

Up early, we caught the 8am ferry heading to Vancouver. It has been awhile and we forgot what the old Queen ferries were like. It gets you there but with a lot less class than the Celebration or Spirit ones. 

Slow food service but still excellent oatmeal. Most wearing masks and sort of six feet apart. Next stop a short visit with high school friend Linda in Steveston and then the all important stop at IKEA! Went in to look and came out with a new duvet, glasses, crackers, cards, tunnel for Theo and probably more! You gotta love shopping with Norm.

Off to North Vancouver for the reason for being here! Grandson Theo… and of course Richard and Sukhia. 

Norm has Theo smiling! Never hurts to stick your tongue out. 

I am working on helping Theo to relax.
