Once Theo fell asleep Norm held him for an hour- meditation time! I did check to see if he was breathing - Theo that is.
Off for the day’s adventure. Lynn Valley.
The first sign we see. Hmmmm no problem
What a beautiful walk, trees, moss, the creek, huckleberries and even Saskatoons!
The trail got busier the closer we came to the Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge which has been closed until just recently. First time for me, Rich and Theo. Norm has been here before when he was a teen! Bridge has been repaired a lot since then.
Crowd stoppers!
And the view below.
People (mostly male) could be seen jumping off the cliffs into the 30’ pool. Crazy! All the signs said no jumping! But while we watched lots were.
And really cold water where they land!
Finished our walk through the woods with ice cream.
Once home Rich and Sukhia had six couples and babies coming to their back yard for a CPR course for babies. Everyone seemed to have a tent. Norm and I were the back up when Theo wasn’t performing quietly.
And we did well as grandparents. Well this time I was in charge. Lots of cuddling, singing and bouncing.
To finish off our busy day, I made chicken souvlaki and Greek salad for dinner so we could sit and relax.
We’ve had a wonderful two day visit and will be back soon.
What a active day.... scary to see so many people on that swinging bridge 😳🥺
