Made it to Rome

According to the Internet, Italy was not keen to have people from the Netherlands visit Italy. A number of requirements were given. So we spent 130€ In Zaandam for two PCR tests and probably 2 hours filling out the EU passenger locator forms! Guess what!! No one asked a single question or checked anything.
We got off the plane and walked out the door to the train to Rome. By the way our tests were negative!!
At Schiphol airport we had a few hours to fill so we had lunch …… for only 36€ =$50.

Yellow Bunny snuck on board in my pocket with a view.

We arrived at the Hotel Colosseum, checked into our room. It is perfect, clean, large and breakfast is included. We’ll see how that is tomorrow.
But tonight we went out for our first Italian dinner
at la Mela d’oro (means the Golden Apple). It was delicious, fresh and tasty. First we had three kinds of bruschetta

Norm had ravioli and I had spaghetti with seafood.

A perfect start to 6 days in Rome.

Buona notte
