Whiskey and UNESCO

Breakfast here at the Ibis hotel has been quite good. Check the amount of food they offer.

Off we head to our first stop, Belfast Castle. Beautiful gardens.

It seems that some in our group are excited about the beech trees found in The Game of Thrones! Evelyn and I had no idea but it was interesting …but Yellow Bunny found a place to hide

Next,  Bushmill Whiskey Distillery first distillery licensed in the world in 1608.

We toured the facility (no photos allowed) and ended with samples.  I gave mine to the sweetest man in the group, Sealan and wife Jean.

Lunch at the local cafe.

Next, the Giant’s Causeway. We have been so lucky with sunny weather! So we hiked down with some sun!

The pictures don’t really show size and scale.

As we headed back up the rains came but only for a short time

Back to Belfast for our farewell dinner. We all will head in different directions tomorrow. Classy dinner at the Fish City

Fish and chips and Prawn taco.

Bonus…….I had to take this photo as we were leaving the Giant’s Causeway. Can you tell what is in this back pack?

  1. Quite the grand finale! Good food, amazing beech tree forest and the Giant’s Causeway (which I looked up for more photos and information). Great photo of you and Evelyn as you head back in your rain gear. I’m guessing you’ll be in Belfast for a day tomorrow before you head home. Rivkah
